Following on from the 205, 206 and 207 Peugeot launched the new 208 her in Geneva. It goes on sale throughout Europe in April and will arrive in Ireland soon after that.

For those who remember the famous 205 GTi fondly it now seem certain that a GTi version of the 208 is on the cards too. The cat was let out of the bag when the covers came off the 208GTi concept which looks pretty much like the finished article. Peugeot considers the new car as a regeneration that marks the beginning of a new era for the company.
