Quirkes Motor Factors in Athlone held a very well attended trade evening to celebrate 50 years in business last night. The event, which took place in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel in Athlone, attracted hundreds of garage owners and mechanics from all over the midlands region.

Many of Quirke’s key suppliers were also in attendance with both trade stands and several product demonstration vans. This provided visitors with the opportunity to see many of the very latest component, tool and equipment innovations from leading aftermarket suppliers. Technicians also got the chance to talk to technical experts from several suppliers and to see up close one the Eure!Car Certified Master Class training vehicles.

Refreshments and entertainment were also on offer and there was a very successful charity raffle, with prizes donated by suppliers, which raised more than €500 for the Westmeath Hospice.
