Recession bites at motor shows
Share:

The global downturn in car sales has caused further causalities in the calendar of motor shows around the world. With manufacturers cutting back on marketing budgets, shows such as the British International Motor Show for 2010 have already been axed and further events are now set for cancellation. These include, the Zagreb International Motor Show, the Baltics Motor Show, the Milan Transpotec Logitec, the Buenos Aires International Motor Show and the Bucharest International Motor Show.

Other casualties are the Amsterdam European Road Transport Show and the Athens International Motor Show, which were scheduled for the autumn. Meanwhile the Tokyo International Motor Show will go ahead but will be four days shorter and not feature any heavy commercial vehicles.
