ŠKODA Ireland has announced that it will be accepting applications in June for a range of trainee positions across the ŠKODA Ireland Network. This is the second time that ŠKODA Ireland have run such a scheme following a successful recruitment drive in 2016.
Over 30 new roles will be filled between now and the end of the year for a variety of positions including; Apprentice Technician, Parts Advisor, Service Advisor and Sales Executive.
Speaking about the programme, William Lee, Head of After Sales at ŠKODA Ireland, said, “ ŠKODA is seeing an unprecedented level of growth in Ireland at the moment as well as the introduction of new technology as we look to launch both Hybrid and full electric vehicles in 2020. We want to ensure that we’re attracting the most talented people to work for ŠKODA in Ireland so we can continue to provide the same excellent level of service that we’ve built our reputation on.”
William added, “We’re rolling out training schemes for a variety of roles and we are particularly proud of the offering we have for apprentice technicians. Traditionally it would have taken seven years to become a fully qualified ŠKODA technician but with this new scheme, apprentice technicians can complete their training fully within four years so it’s a really attractive prospect. If you or anyone you know has an interest in these trainee positions we would urge you to apply.”
Potential applicants can apply for these positions in June, with interviews scheduled to take place in July and August with successful candidates starting in September 2019.
