ŠKODA Ireland has signed up with Radio Nova to become the official vehicle provider of the Radio Nova Street Team.

Three sleek ŠKODA Yetis will be driven by Radio Nova’s professional events team and have recently roared into action as part of the brand new image of the team. The Radio Nova Street team is used for business and brand events including outside broadcasts in the extensive catchment area of Dublin, Kildare, Meath and Wicklow. The ŠKODA Yetis will now be regular features at official openings, promotions, product launches across the commuter belt and are already making a striking impression.

Commenting on the partnership, Raymond Leddy, Head of Marketing & Product, ŠKODA Ireland said: “We are delighted to become the official vehicle of the Nova Street Team. Nova are very like ŠKODA in many ways. They have made great strides over the last number of years gaining a large share of the market and they have huge ambition with a unique offering.  The Yetis are looking very stylish and we look forward to seeing them on the roads of Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare and Meath where we have six ŠKODA dealerships.”

Also commenting, Mary O’Sullivan, General Manager, Radio Nova said “We are thrilled to add the ŠKODA Yetis to the Nova Street Team. Of particular interest to us is the fuel economy. Combined, our three Yetis are so efficient they cost less to run than our single American Hummer we also have on our fleet! Our street team supports all outside broadcasts and activities with the station and the Yetis have already created a great impression. The JNLR figures are steadily on the increase for Nova and we hope this will continue over the coming years.”

The elegant and stylish Yeti is available to test drives in all ŠKODA dealers nationwide and ŠKODA has recently added its first commercial model in 15 years with the arrival of the new ŠKODA Yeti Sherpa.
