Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions is celebrating a year of significant achievements, marked by the success of its first-ever REPXPERT Conference and recent rebranding.

By the end of 2024, The Schaeffler REPXPERT team will have answered over 20,000 technical calls (not counting 40,000+ application and part number enquiries), visited more than 900 workshops across the UK and Ireland and attended 15 trade shows. The company trained over 5,000 technicians and supported the development of over 80 Level two and three apprentices through its Wrenches and Wisdom events. Meanwhile, REPXPERT members earned 38 million bonus points, with three becoming REPXPERT Millionaires.

"As we reflect on 2024, the automotive aftermarket has undergone another year of transformation," said Matthew Selby, Sales and Marketing Director at Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions. "With challenges continuing to arise in the industry, Schaeffler remains committed to supporting garages, suppliers, and distributors as they need to adapt and innovate in this ever-evolving landscape."

A significant milestone in 2024 was the rebranding of Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket to Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions in November. The rebrand underscores a long-term vision of providing comprehensive, integrated solutions that support the entire lifecycle of vehicles, meeting the evolving needs of workshops.

The REPXPERT Conference was another key highlight of the year, bringing together industry leaders and innovative garages to discuss industry challenges, share technical insights, and foster networking opportunities.

Schaeffler also launched its Wrenches and Wisdom campaign this year, designed to engage and inspire the next generation of technicians. Combining an online video series with live training events, the initiative aims to train and upskill young talent.

Following its success in 2024, Wrenches and Wisdom will continue to grow, playing a vital role in shaping the workforce of tomorrow with a focus on hands-on learning, and how garage owners can benefit from hosting apprentices in their workshops throughout 2025 and beyond.

Through its LuK, INA, and FAG brands, Schaeffler continues to deliver genuine OE-quality parts, along with essential tools, training, and technical support via the REPXPERT platform.

Aftermarket professionals are encouraged to stay updated with all the latest from Schaeffler by downloading the REPXPERT app, or by visiting the online portal at: www.repxpert.co.uk.
