Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket’s stand proved to be a massive success at the recent Frankfurt Motor Show attracting 100,000 visitors during the event.

The impressive stand featured original-equipment parts from the LuK clutch , INA tensioner and FAG wheel bearing brands with interactive modules that displayed how technically advanced Schaeffler products function are.  The LuK RepSet® 2CT, a repair solution that makes it possible for independent garages to repair dry double-clutches for the very first time, attracted particular attention.

The main focus of the stand design was the Schaeffler Motorsport green-yellow AGM-Jimco X6 SCORE Trophy Truck of rally driver Armin Schwarz, who will take part in what’s claimed to be the toughest race in the world, the Baja 1000, in mid-November.

Schaeffler is a sponsor, supplier and key development partner for Armin Schwarz and the All German Motorsports Team. Inside the green-yellow ‘desert lizard’ are a host of Schaeffler products developed by its engineers, from bearings to a torque converter.

Student Thomas Kraiczok was the fastest of more than 3000 people who took part in the ‘Schaeffler Rally Experience’ a 3D full-motion simulators of the most challenging sections of a desert rally. His prize is to travel with Armin Schwarz’s team to take part in preparations for the Baja 1000.
