In May of this year, Sixt expanded its activities to Ireland and now offers a leasing & fleet management solution in addition to car rental.
Sixt Leasing Ireland announced that 25 new jobs are to be created over the next 2 years, and will be in areas including sales/marketing, customer service and finance. These jobs will be based in Sandyford, Dublin, bringing the total workforce of Sixt Leasing Ireland to 30.
Sixt will be working together with franchise partner Conor Kelly in Ireland, offering the full-service leasing, alongside car rental services. Conor Kelly has approximately 20-years of leasing and fleet management experience and will guide the future of the business. The company has its headquarters in Dublin and has a nationwide network of preferred suppliers. It will shortly be launching a marketing campaign to Irish Corporates to Switch & Save with Sixt Rates.
In attendance at the launch was presidential candidate Sean Gallagher, who spoke highly of the importance of innovation and job creation to the recovery of our economy. Also attending the launch and guest speaker on the night was Peter Zingraf, Deputy Head of Mission, German Embassy Dublin.
