The Irish Tarmac Rally Championship has a new top-line supporter. The Clonakilty Blackpudding Company is to be the title sponsor of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship, Irish Tarmac Modified Challenge & Irish Tarmac Historic Rally Championships - with immediate effect.

Edward Twomey of the Clonakilty Blackpudding Company quoted:“Clonakilty Blackpudding as a company are delighted to be the new title sponsor of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship. It is a great honour to share our name with such a prestigious and historic championship which has such a large following throughout the island of Ireland and beyond these shores”.

The series will now be known as The Clonakilty Blackpudding Company Irish Tarmac Rally Championship: the first event under the new title will be the Killarney Historic in December.
