Nenagh Company, Mackey Plant Construction, has registered a new Peugeot Boxer van from Main Peugeot Dealers for North Tipperary, Slattery’s Garage, Puckane.


The new Boxer van, APMP Van of the Year 2015 in Ireland, is one of many Peugeot light commercial vans the company has bought from Slattery’s, since established in 1986. Offering a range of structural steelwork, mild and stainless steel fabrication, bridges and steel buildings, Mackey Plant Construction has consistently grown in strength and now operates a 40,000 sq ft workshop in Nenagh and has business in the 32-counties of Ireland, employing almost 30 staff. At the very core of this success has been a highly dependable, efficient fleet of Peugeot vans that work hard to deliver proven results for the business. 

Owners Michael and Hilda Mackey began their relationship with Peugeot vans and Slattery’s Garage in the mid-80s. Since then, during their thirty years of prosperity, they have bought many Peugeot cars & vans such as, the Peugeot 504, 305 vans, 205 vans, 307 van, Partner van, Expert and Boxer vans from Slattery’s. Their current fleet is made up of 6 Peugeot light commercial vehicles. Every vehicle is serviced in Slattery’s and prepared for DOE inspection by Service Manager, Andrew Slattery and his team of technicians.

Slatterys Garage is a family run company, celebrating almost 56 years of business in the village of Puckane. With two trained Peugeot technicians & three qualified mechanics, all staff are trained to the highest qualification in their field of expertise. Andrew Slattery, was crowned Peugeot Service Manager of the Year 2013 and Zoltan Hicz took the Peugeot Parts Manager of the Year in the same year.
