The coldest winter for many years may have struck a few positive notes for hard-pressed SUV drivers. Not only have they been able to drive around smugly and actually put all four wheels to work in the snow, but it seems that poor weather has actually caused falling resale values to stabilize.

EurotaxGlass, has said that snow and ice have boosted demand for the four-wheel drive vehicles, at least partially halting the sales slump of last year.
