Paint manufacturer Spies Hecker has played a key role in the prestigious World Skills 2013 competition held in Leipzig providing five specialist technicians and two tonnes of paint.

The competition over four days saw young vehicle refinishers from 24 countries compete in a 2,500m2 arena. Spies Hecker sponsored the event along with Volkswagen Service Deutschland and other suppliers.

"It was very important for us to support the world championship in crafts and trades. The WorldSkills competition clearly demonstrates how much potential there is in refinishing,"
