Laser Hand Tools have introduced a Press Frame and adaptor kit for front lower ball joint removal on the Mercedes Benz Sprinter.

The Mercedes Benz Sprinter van front lower ball joint has a very tight interference fit in the wishbone and a significant force is required to remove the old ball joint and fit new. Heat is not recommended to assist removal as the ball joint has a sealed grease unit under the inner ball.

To solve this problem, Laser have just introduced a set of adaptors designed specifically for the Sprinter (part no: 5690) which work with the Press Frame (part no: 5689) and greatly simplify this awkward task.

The Sprinter adaptors can also be used with a hydraulic workshop press and other adaptors are available to be used with the Press Frame.
