Refinish specialist Standox has introduced a new clearcoat additive, KA678, which allows professional painters to repair the special OEM colour shade Soul Red Crystal which appears on the new Mazda CX-5.

In order to accentuate the lines of new car models, car manufacturers like to use special, eye-catching colours. The new Mazda CX-5 in a particularly deep glowing red is a good example of this. Called Soul Red Crystal it is a finish with extraordinary depth and reflection.

For a professional paint repair of this challenging colour, Standox now offers the clearcoat additive KA678, which is mixed directly into the clearcoat as indicated in the colour formula. The application is carried out in a two-coat repair process.
