To help workshops meet the challenges of new automotive technology Wulf Gaertner Autoparts, the company behind the MEYLE parts brand, is now offering a new training programme designed to provide in-depth technical knowledge on today's increasingly complex vehicles. The company also wants to continually up-date technician knowledge so that they can offer the highest level of professional repair and replacement on all cars.
Choosing from four compact training modules providing expert knowledge and tips and tricks for successful vehicle repair, wholesalers can book training for their MEYLE workshop customers. Depending on the customer's preferences, training sessions can be booked to take place at the at the repair professional's workshop or in the training facilities of the parts supplier.
Training modules include steering and suspension parts, MEYLE PD brake discs and pads, engine cooling and water pumps as well as oil filter replacement on automatic transmissions. All training sessions have a balanced approach between theory and practice and last from one and half to two and a half hours. During the training the MEYLE mechanics will share background knowledge, current insights and information on new applications, complemented by hands-on exercises to demonstrate state-of-the-art vehicle systems, thereby ensuring repairs are carried out to professional standards.
