Leading Irish parts distributor, Strongline Autoparts, continues to develop its highly successful partnership with braking specialist Juratek. 

Juratek prides itself on having one of the most up-to-date and relevant braking ranges and working with Strongline allows the two companies to tailor the range to the Irish market. Regular new to range additions are constantly being made and a prime example of this is the addition of more than 350 brake calipers since September 2024. 

The range now consists of over 900 calipers covering the vast majority of popular applications. Stockist thus do not have to worry about the inconvenience of collecting and processing old core. 

The brake disc range has also seen many new applications added in recent months. Juratek brake discs are produced to exacting standards in terms of both dimensional integrity and material specifications. They are also strenuously tested in-house to ensure conformity to the required specifications of dimensions, hardness, strength, and chemical composition. 

Corrosion is a growing problem with brake discs, especially on electric vehicles and Juratek combats this with a special coating that delivers greatly improved corrosion resistance, maintaining their colour for longer and making them cosmetically more appealing.  The anti corrosion treatment is on the centre core and outer edge, so no cleaning is required prior to fitting. All discs are also marked with a part number and batch code for full traceability.  

Juratek brake pads are ECE Regulation 90 approved and feature premium anti–noise brake shims and an initial performance strip which means no bedding-in is required. Many of the pads also come with the added bonus of being supplied with a fitting kit, including wires and wear indicators. This can save a technician considerable time and expense, having to source items separately.
