The team at P R Reilly’s Donegal branch have once again been involved in supporting Shane Gallagher and Ivan Black in the Temple Street 4x4 Challenge. The event is run each year in aid of a very good cause and is only made possible through local sponsorship.

The 2013 event was once again clouded in mystery. Competitors are not given any event details, not even the location, until the last minute. All they know is that it will be a tough challenge featuring many of the top 4x4 drivers and attracting teams from Scotland, Wales, England and America.

The Donegal Team had a great result finishing 9th overall and 2nd in night navigation. They also had the distinction of being the team who raised the most in the history of the competition. Shane and Ivan now aim to improve these stats next year.

Well done to Shane and Ivan for their outstanding fund raising efforts for Temple Street. To find out more about the event and contribute to the charity visit www.4x4challenge.org/
