In a bid to help workshops tackle today’s increasingly complex and diverse range of jobs, Delphi, a brand of PHINIA Inc., is encouraging garage owners and technicians to take advantage of its ever-growing library of ‘how-to’ videos.
Released every Thursday as part of Delphi’s ongoing Masters of Motion programme, each video covers key concepts with expert tips and step-by-step guidance. They offer a cost-free and convenient way to fill knowledge gaps, making them an increasingly valuable tool in today’s fast-paced automotive industry.
“We’re strong believers in the power of knowledge and the importance of ongoing learning,” said Luke Garratt, UK & Nordics Technical Services Manager at Delphi. “These videos are created by technicians, for technicians. It means this content is relevant, practical, and immediately applicable in the workshop.”
Some of the latest videos include ‘How to adapt a low-pressure EGR valve’, which walks technicians through the correct procedure from checking for fault codes in the exhaust gas recirculation valve to a final road test, and ‘How to perform real-time data recording’, covering everything from understanding vehicle symptoms to settling on a diagnosis and proceeding with a repair.
Other recent topics include videos on AdBlue diesel exhaust fluid, tyre pressure monitoring systems and several Tesla-specific guides.
Through the Masters of Motion programme, Delphi aims to help workshops meet the evolving needs of today’s vehicles. Alongside videos, Masters of Motion hosts a wealth of informative technical content including infographics, articles, tips, training resources, and advice.
Technicians wishing to keep updated can follow Delphi on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, or subscribe to email newsletter updates.
