Texa have launched a new compact diagnostic tool, the AXONE 4 Mini, which incorporates most of the functions of the larger AXONE 4.
The AXONE 4 Mini features a user-friendly 7-inch resistive full touch screen, with 800x1280 resolution and has a Cortex A8 processor that provides excellent processing speed and flexibility. There is also a 4GB solid-state hard disk and a 16GB SD card that allows functions to run simultaneously.
A Bluetooth module allows the diagnostic tool to communicate easily with TEXA interfaces such as NAVIGATOR TXT, NAVIGATOR TXC, Navigator Nano and electrical measuring tools UNIProbe and TwinProbe, while a Wi-Fi card gives access to the internet.
To cope with workshop demands the AXONE 4 Mini is extremely robust, boasting homologation to military standard 810F and a protection rating of IP54. The tool runs IDC4 PM software and has a highly intuitive graphic interface based on large, coloured icons which guide users through various diagnostic functions. The new software also provides direct access to important functions like parameter and state detection, error detection and resetting, component testing and activation, adjustments and calibrations. Texa say IDC4 PM offers the widest coverage of any diagnostic software on the market, with over 350,000 selections as well as access to technical bulletins, technical data and wiring diagrams. This in-depth coverage allows technicians to work with confidence on the vehicles of all manufacturers, including Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Indian models.
Texa has also launched a dedicated new portal to let users check the actual models covered by IDC4 software, as well as its latest diagnostic functions. This can be found at www.texa.com/coverage.
