If you've recently bought a new TomTom device, chances are you have downloaded the voice of Irish Girl Naoimh Touhy, to hear her dulcet tones directing you to your destination. Naoimh won the coveted TomTom Voice of Ireland title, in a voice-off battle on Today FM recently. Over 1,000 people battled it out on radio for the TomTom Voice of Ireland.

Since her victory Naoimh's voice, which was described as sounding like 'Irish cream' by the judges including Today FMs Ray D'arcy, has topped the Irish TomTom voice charts and has been downloaded a whopping 11,500 times so far this year.

Originally from Kimmage and now living in Westport, Co. Mayo, when told
how many people had downloaded her voice Naoimh said, 'I can't believe it, it is
absolutely fantastic. I guess the elocution lessons paid off in the end!"
