Tools used by a top team at the world renowned Le Mans 24 hour race are now available in Ireland from P.J.Fallon & Son.

Since 2013 Bahco has been the official hand tool partner and supplier to the Signatech-Alpine team, which competes in the World Endurance Championship and won the LMP2 category in last year’s event.  This professional partnership sees Bahco’s specialist engineers and technicians work closely with Signatech-Alpine’s drivers and its technical team.

The tools they use are now available to professional technicians across Ireland from garage equipment specialist P.J.Fallon & Son, in Roscommon. A fully accredited Bahco distributor, the company has been supplying garage and bodyshop equipment and tools for more than 27 years and provides nationwide sales and service.

The Bahco brand is especially well known for its hydraulic automotive tools, including trolley jacks, cranes and accessories.

One product already proving popular is the Bahco hydraulic, single piston transmission jack. With a 500kg lift capacity the jack is ideal for removing, installing or transporting transmissions. Only 38 strokes are needed to reach full height, thanks to a two speed pump and a double piston version, with 1,000kg capacity, is also available.

The Bahco range includes a multi-purpose trolley jack with 1.0tonne capacity, lightweight aluminium trolley jacks with lift capacity of 1.5 or 2.5 tonnes, as well as two trolley jacks providing extra low entrance, one with extended reach. A 3.0 tonnes, long chassis (1,270mm)  high elevation  (800mm) trolley jack is designed for lifting four wheel drive vehicles, vans, agricultural tractors, mini-buses and camper vans.

Air hydraulic jacks, scissor jacks and two or three step balloon jacks are also available within the Bahco range. This also features a a hydraulic wheel dolly to lift heavy agricultural and contractors’ equipment for mounting and dismounting of wheels from 1.0m to 2.4m diameter and up to 1,500kg in weight, with eight rollers to assist wheel rotation.

Also in the range is an engine support bar suitable for big SUVs, a 2.0 tonne hydraulic foldable crane,  600kg foldable Europallet crane and a portable hydraulic ram straightening set in 4T or 10T versions.
