Topaz, the country’s biggest fuels and convenience retailer has been recognised as one of the Best Workplaces in Ireland for the fifth year in a row.

The company, which demonstrated superior business performance, was recognised at a recent gala awards dinner in Dublin. Topaz was named for the second year in a row as one of Ireland’s ‘Best Managed’ companies in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards Programme.

This year Topaz claimed 11th place, in a list of the Best Large Workplaces in Ireland 2012 and also won the Great Place to Work Team award, the top employee engagement award.

Best Workplaces sets out to recognise the finest employers and therefore the most satisfied workforces in Ireland. This year Topaz also won the Great Place to Work Team award which measures how well a company engages with and empowers staff.
