Main Peugeot Dealers Boland Carlow, Dublin Road, Carlow and Hugo Loonam Motors, Cloghan, County Offaly have successfully met stringent, new customer service standards.

Set by the PSA Group under a new programme called Organisation et Développement des Activités de Service (ODAS), the international framework programme has been introduced by Peugeot in their worldwide bid to consistently monitor and improve customer satisfaction, with a clear objective of continued market share growth.

Boland Carlow and Hugo Loonam Motors won the seal of approval from administrators, UK specialists, MXS International and are now amongst the first Peugeot Dealers in both UK and Ireland to have completed the process.

During the six month rigorous appraisal process, Michael Dooley, Service Manager, and his team at Hugo Loonam Motors and Emmet Watchorn, Aftersales Manager, and his team at Boland Carlow underwent the in-depth certification process. During the programme, all aspects of customer service within both Dealerships' Aftersales department were monitored and graded; making appointments, welcoming the customer, workshop efficiency, explanation of work, return of vehicle and post-repair or service contact.

Sean Kearns, Head of Aftersales at Gowan Distributors Limited, Peugeot Importers in Ireland said, "Hugo Loonam Motors and Boland Carlow have consistently demonstrated customer service excellence and best practice. During the ODAS programme appraisal period, they exceeded their customer satisfaction targets, all the while achieving a balance of workshop productivity and affordable maintenance for customers. The ODAS certification from Automobiles Peugeot marks another proud and successful chapter for everyone at Hugo Loonam Motors and Boland Carlow."
