Clutch brand, UniClutch, has announced it will be partnering with the NAPA Racing UK team for the 2024 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season.
News of the sponsorship comes as UniClutch made its entrance into the UK and Irish markets at the start of the year, launching its ground-breaking clutch innovation, developed and manufactured by Australian specialist Clutch Industries.
UniClutch, aims to revolutionise the upgrade clutch market for motor factors, installers, and end-users alike, offering a range of four products: UniClutch, UniClutch Sport, UniClutch Track, and UniClutch 4Terrain. These products are exclusively available from Alliance Automotive Group (AAG).
The UniClutch brand is making its debut onto the track this season, with its branding featuring on the NAPA Racing UK vehicles. The 2024 team will once again be led by defending champion Ash Sutton, along with Dan Cammish who is embarking on his third year in the NAPA Racing UK team, plus Daniel Rowbottom who returns for a second season and Sam Osbourne, completes the four-car line-up.
Following a triumphant 2023 season, where NAPA Racing UK clinched the Drivers, Manufacturers, and Teams Championships titles, the team is poised for another title pursuit, with UniClutch onboard.
The 2024 BTCC season kicks off at Donington Park in Leicestershire on 27 / 28 April for rounds one, two and three. Nine further race weekends comprising qualifying, and three races follow at Brands Hatch Indy on 11 / 12 May, Snetterton (300) on 25 / 26 May, Thruxton and Oulton Park in June, Croft on 27 / 28 July and Knockhill 10 / 11 August.
The event calendar returns to the Donington Park Grand Prix circuit on 24 / 25 August, followed by Silverstone for the penultimate race event on 21 / 22 September, with the championship decider back at Brands Hatch on its Grand Prix circuit layout on 5 / 6 October 2024.
