Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is delighted to announce their continued efforts to support the Irish Cancer Society by participating in the Movember campaign, to raise awareness and much needed research funding for men’s health.

In order to reach its target donation of €20,000, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is inviting all of its customers and supporters of the charity to partake in the campaign and become either a “Mobro or Mo Sista”.

The campaign will involve Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Ireland, VWGI, Volkswagen Bank and staff at 24 Van Centres around the country. A social media campaign is also running on the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Facebook page to invite customers to join the VWVC team to help raise funds for a worthy cause.

According to Alan Bateson, Director, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Ireland: “Movember is a great campaign and one which Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles are very excited to be participating in again. We really want to encourage people to get behind the campaign by having a bit of fun and signing up at the following link: http://moteam.co/team-volkswagen-commercial-vehicles.

“This is a campaign that resonates with a lot of Irish people and one we look forward to getting involved in every year.”

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will be supplying a new Transporter Generation 6 to Movember for a six week period, which will enable visits to corporate teams and events in the lead up to and during the campaign. The Transporter will be transformed into a mobile barbers fully equipped with its own barbers’ chair for events.
