Eddie Cullen from Wexford Car Centre has been selected to represent Ireland at the Kia Technical Skills World Cup Final.

The Kia Technical Skills Cup is a biennial event which will culminate with the World Skills Cup Final in Seoul, between 23rd and 27th May 2016.

The final is contested by 60 technicians representing 45 markets from around the world. Eddie was selected after he took first place in the Kia Ireland National Skills Cup Final at the Kia Ireland head office on Thursday 10th March.

The national final consisted of a written exam and practical tests. The practical tests assessed the participants’ ability to navigate through the Kia technical information systems and formulate an effective diagnostic strategy to complete the tasks. All participants scored strongly but it was Eddie’s exemplary fault finding technique that secured him the top honour.
