Connect Workshop Consumables is now offering wraparound braided harness sleeving, a self-closing braided sleeving that provides a lightweight and easy to install solution for protecting and tidying electrical wiring harnesses.

The sleeving is flame retardant and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +150°C. It is resistant to most chemicals and solvents and has excellent noise vibration reduction properties, making it ideal for automotive use. It is especially useful for repairing an existing wiring harness or loom, or for helping to secure additional wiring for new components such as aftermarket audio equipment, car alarms, reversing sensors and cameras, or a vehicle tracker. 

It is available in six tube diameter sizes: 5mm (part number 39878), 8mm (39879), 10mm (39885), 13mm (39904), 16mm (39906) and 25mm (39998), all supplied in 5 metre lengths. The users simply chooses a suitable size and cuts to the required length with scissors and then wraps around the wiring. The braid then closes up around the wires.
