Eight new APX part numbers have been added to the Bosch Aerotwin Universal AP DIY range. This expands the range to cover over 95% of OE connection types in Ireland and the UK and means more drivers can now benefit from wipers, featuring patented Power Protection Plus technology and Longlife wiper rubber for enhanced performance.

Bosch Aerotwin wipers are favoured by both motorists and garages for their outstanding performance and quiet wiping, even under extreme weather conditions. The Power Protection Plus wiper rubber and patented coating are combined with tailor-made high-tech Evodium spring strips which press the wiper more firmly onto the windscreen. 

The wipers are also note for increased service life and quick and easy installation on a wide variety of vehicle type, using a modular adapter system. The wipers also come in sustainable packaging which is 100% plastic-free and recyclable thanks to cardboard tray consisting of a wood-fibre-based material. 

In order to offer a solution for even more vehicles, the existing Universal AP range has been extended by another 8 part numbers with 3 new adapters included in the package. This means:

• Compact range with a total of only 23 AP and APX part numbers
• Reduced complexity: two adapters of the AP range cover the wiper arm No. 3 with widths of 16 mm and 19 mm. With the APX program, only one adapter is required and the JET wiper arm is also covered.
• Market coverage of over 95% of OE interfaces in Ireland.
