German parts specialist febi has highlighted the great lengths its product specialists went to in 2024 to ensure its range remained as up-to-date and relevant as possible, including the introduction of many aftermarket exclusives. 

Last year febi added over 2,700 brand new parts to its range, joining over 40,600 existing parts covering all popular vehicles in Ireland.

The additions included 534 products from brand new ranges, for example a new range of over 300 Drive Shafts and 190 Drive Shaft Joint Kits. Here one of the best sellers was the Driveshaft for Audi A3 / Seat Leon / Skoda Octavia & VW Golf, febi part No. 188160 (OE No.: 5Q0 407 271 M). 

A new range of over 190 Alternators and 140 Starter Motors was also introduced adding significantly to the level of choice and value in the rotating electrics market. Here a major sales highlight was the febi replacement starter motor for the Citroen Berlingo, Citroen Dispatch / Mini Cooper / Peugeot 2008 & Peugeot Expert. This is febi part no. 192980 (OE No.: 12 41 7 794 971). 

Demonstrating its coverage for the very latest vehicles, febi also added 237 new products for electric vehicles. Two components that sold especially well were Brake Discs for the MG 5, febi 188791 (OE No.: 10347628) and the Gas Springs for the Tesla Model X Wing Doors, febi 194280 / 194282 / 194289, (OE No.: 1063440-00-F / 1063440-01-F / 1063441-00-F). 
 
febi also continued to be a leader in Steering & Suspension coverage, with the addition of 597 new parts. Highlights included: the Compressor for Air Suspension for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, febi 185704 (OE No.: 251 320 26 04) and the Pivot for Watts Linkage for the Opel/Vauxhall Astra, febi 176307, (OE No.: 13332257).
