Draper’s Slimline COB LED Rechargeable Magnetic Inspection Lamp has picked up another award, this time from the UK motoring magazine Auto Express. This follows on from similar recognition from Land Rover Monthly Magazine.

The 5W lamp, part number 65395, was commended in the best car care, tech and accessories category in the Auto Express product awards. The judges commented, “This new generation of LEDs is clearly effective. It is so bright you need to take care not to look at it directly.”

Land Rover Monthly Magazine gave the compact COB LED a highly commended accolade commenting, “This light produces a smooth, wide beam that’s brighter than the LED180’s. Used close up, it’s arguably a bit much, so we’re glad the lamp includes a more frugal and less intense mode, which Draper claims gives up to four hours of light. We also like the mains and USB charging options.”

Draper says the COB LED Rechargeable Magnetic Inspection Lamp makes a very useful addition to any technician’s tool box. It is available now from Draper stockist.
