Strong colours are making a comeback on new cars and help refinishers with glowing, deep blues, Standox has added a new Clearcoat Additive, KA677 Brilliant Blue to its range which makes it possible to repair highly-chromatic colours.

The appeal of colours, such as the new 8X1 Sapphire Blue from Lexus, lies in their eye-catching brilliance and luminosity. Standox developed its new Clearcoat Additive KA677 Brilliant Blue to help refinishers achieve a professional paint repair that will match these special colours.

The greenish blue colour is mixed directly with the clearcoat and produces the characteristic depth of the original finish. Thanks to a high colour saturation and transparency, Clearcoat Additive KA677 Brilliant Blue is only required in tiny quantities to replicate the luminosity of the high chroma 8X1 Sapphire Blue. The additive is also used to reproduce many other colours.

Standox Clearcoat Additive KA677 Brilliant Blue is available immediately in a handy 100ml can with screw cap. It can be used with virtually all Standocryl VOC and 2K clearcoats.

Please contact your Standox representative for further information.
