Rain-X Rain Repellent is well known for its improvement in wet-weather visibility and safety by creating an invisible hydrophobic coating that repels rain, sleet and snow. Also working its way on to the Irish market is Rain-X Plastic Water Repellent, which works much the same way, but is specifically formulated for use on plastic surfaces. Raindrops bead up upon contact with the super slick coating and are blown away by aerodynamic wind flow from driving.
