Vehicle down time can be a costly expense in the recovery business, so when equipment needs modification or maintenance fast turnaround is vital. This was exactly the case when Devon based recovery operator Yalberton Autos needed work done on one of its trucks recently, with the speed of service from recovery body specialist Roger Dyson exceeding even the most optimistic expectations.  

The Dyson team managed to collect the vehicle, a slidebed-equipped Fuso Canter, bring it to the Dyson workshops in Drotwich, carry out modification work and return it to the customer all in a day. This included a 300 mile round trip. Yalberton Autos MD, John Denbow, said “I have to take my hat off to them. It looked impossible to me but the team at Roger Dyson were happy to take on the challenge, and deserve credit for an incredibly fast turnaround.”
