Reduce oil consumption with Motor Oil Saver from LIQUI MOLY

As car age, increased oil consumption can often be a problem, but it does not always stem from an engine issue. One of the main reasons a car need more oil are porous engine seals leaking oil.

Over the years and due to constant temperature change the seals lose the plasticizers that they contain. This causes them to contract and become brittle. The result is a visible loss of oil.

LIQUI MOLY’s Motor Oil Saver uses special ingredients to make the seals swell up again so that a sealing effect can be guaranteed again. The additive regenerates and protects engine
seals made of rubber and plastic such as shaft sealing rings and valve stem seals. Thus, it also prevents oil stains under the vehicle and therefore environmental pollution.

Motor Oil Saver also counteracts oil dilution and reduces oil consumption through piston rings and valve guides. It also offers the added bonus of reduced engine noise.

LIQUI MOLY Motor Oil Saver is suitable for all available motor oils in petrol and diesel engines with and without a diesel particulate filter. It is tested as recommended for vehicles with turbochargers and catalytic converters. However, the additive is not suitable for motorbikes with a wet clutch.

One can of 300 ml is sufficient to treat up to 5 litres of motor oil. The product can be added at any time. After adding, LIQUI MOLY recommends that the engine is run until warm. Sealing first takes effect after amileage of 600 to 800 km. To guarantee a lasting effect, LIQUI MOLY recommends adding the product again after every 30,000 kilometres as a preventative measure.

This product is available from LIQUI MOLY stockists nationwide.
