Refinish supplier Standox has introduced a new Spotfill Primer U3020 to help refinishers get to grips quickly with sand-through areas.

Standox 1K Spotfill Primer U3020 comes in a spray can and can save on lengthy corrective measures. Thanks to its ease of use and shortened drying times, 1K Spotfill Primer U3020 can significantly cut process times.

Standox says, even the most adept refinishers are familiar with the problem of sand-through areas. Despite taking the greatest care when refinishing a car, sanding the old paint or filler can easily lead to areas of sand-through to the metal, particularly on corners and edges. Often these are only noticed in the spray booth shortly before painting. With Standox 1K Spotfill Primer U3020 from the SprayMax spray can range, refinishers can protect even the smallest of these sanded-through areas precisely and quickly. They simply apply a thin coat to the sand-through area, and after only 10 minutes’ drying time, the refinish process can be resumed as normal. The sand-through area is now reliably protected against corrosion. And thanks to the handy spray can, SprayMax 1K Spotfill Primer U3020 can easily coat difficult to reach parts.

Standox supplies 1K Spotfill Primer U3020 in a 400ml spray can. It can be overcoated with the Standohyd Plus basecoat system.
