SEAT Ireland will introduce a 0% finance offer from July 1st for a limited period across its range of passenger cars including the stunning new SEAT Leon Sports Coupé.

SEAT customers will also be able to avail of a new three year servicing offer for €199 – a saving of €400. These new offers coincide with the introduction 132 registration period beginning on July 1st.

The decision to offer 0% finance on Hire Purchase agreements across the SEAT range comes on the back of a successful first half of 2013 for the brand. SEAT currently commands 3.03% of the market – up from 1.58% over the same period last year. SEAT has seen its sales increase by 64% year on year in a market that is down just over 14%.

Commenting on the initiative, Cian O’Brien, Director of SEAT Ireland said: “SEAT is undergoing a renaissance as a brand both in Ireland and internationally, however we know that potential customers are struggling to put finance in place with many banks reluctant to lend. We are fortunate to be part of the Volkswagen family and have finance available through Volkswagen Bank which gives customers access to a more attractive, flexible finance offer. With the average age of vehicles on Irish roads rising to 8 years old and maintenance charges soaring SEAT Ireland feels that our offers need to encourage motorists to upgrade their cars and not only enjoy significant savings in terms of costs of ownership but also to enjoy the great product offerings SEAT has available ”
