Bodyshop consumables supplier 3M is to sponsor this years WorldSkills event, to be held at the ExCeL in London from 5th to 8th October.

This highly popular event promotes the skills and abilities of young people in the industry, attracting over 1,000 competitors in 46 skill disciplines from some 50 countries, all of whom are aged under 25.

Olympic style gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded in each category as competitors compete in various skills showcases. Carla O’Brien of 3M’s Automotive Aftermarket Division said, “WorldSkills is a great way for bodyshop technicians of the future to compete against the best from around the world and receive truly international recognition for their efforts. We are delighted to be sponsoring the event and would like to wish the very best of luck to all the participants.”
