AkzoNobel, the company behind the Sikkens refinish paint brand, which is distributed in Ireland by Synergy Vehicle Refinish Solutions, has demonstrated its commitment to customer service and enhancing bodyshop profitability, with the development of a digital management system.
Commenting on the launch of Carbeat, Peter Tomlinson, Managing Director of AkzoNobel’s Automotive & Specialty Coatings business, said, "There are two important trends facing repairers today, increasing vehicle repair process complexity and the demand for transparency and efficiency into those processes. We believe Carbeat will really help our bodyshop customers and multi-site operators master these challenges, by giving them control and visibility into the heartbeat of their business.”
The system has undergone comprehensive testing and Wes Steffen of Elmer’s Body Shop in Elkhart, USA, one of the test customers commented, "The benefits I have seen include increased throughput, reduced waste in most phases of the repair process and higher morale and engagement from my employees.”
AkzoNobel say that the cloud based Carbeat system will be easy to adopt and incorporate into any existing workflow. The new system is now available in the USA and will be launched on the European market in early 2018.
