Autologic Diagnostics has announced the launch of its new mobile app, AssistMobile, which complements its Autologic Assist solution.

Autologic Assist already provides its customers with access to its team of master technicians via the AssistPlus device, online or by phone. Now, the new AssistMobile app offers a convenient and easy way for current Assist customers to access the Company’s highly advanced Technical Support team from their iOS or Android device. AssistMobile can be downloaded to customers’ mobile devices from the respective app stores.

The app collects details of a problematic car by scanning the VIN barcode and asking a few simple questions. Additionally, some of the standard functionality found on most Smartphones, such as camera and flashlight accessibility, present further benefits when using AssistMobile.

Using the integrated VIN barcode scanner, the user can capture the VIN, provide further detail of the vehicle and issues, and use their device’s camera to capture and attach photos or videos to support the diagnosis, before submitting the case. The case will then be assessed by the relevant vehicle brand technician, who will contact the user by their preferred method to help resolve the problem.

Autologic say that with an average of 7,000 faults fixed each week and a 98% fix success rate, AssistMobile is a convenient way to help technicians get from Fault to Fix, Fast.
