Exhibitors discuss upcoming Automechanika Birmingham
Share:

Automechanika Birmingham will be home to more than 550 high standard businesses in the automotive aftermarket and supply chain from 7th-9th June 2016. With seminars, new products and workshops to be just a fraction of what the exhibition has to offer, exhibitors are becoming more enthralled as the 7th June draws closer.

Manbat’s Myles Pemberton, marketing manager: "As a service orientated business with more than sixty years of aftermarket experience, we know that building relationships is the key to the success of any business. Automechanika provides Manbat with the opportunity to build new relationships and further cement those that already exist.

"Our stand will feature a full range of high quality batteries from VARTA®, Lucas and Numax, alongside professional accessories such as battery chargers and boost packs, as well as installation tools to help technicians do their jobs quicker and more efficiently.

"More information can be gained by attending our presentation, which will explain how changes in battery technology have impacted the industry, but created profit opportunities for workshops.”

Trico’s Sam Robinson, senior marketing manager, brand & product: "Trico has supported trade shows in the UK more than most suppliers as it’s been in business since 1917. We are proud that we were the first company to manufacture wiper blades for automobiles.

"For many years we manufactured here in the UK, but more recently moved this facility to the USA. It’s so important to re-establish the Trico brand as a market leader and Automechanika Birmingham is perfect for this for our UK messages. The fact that this show not only caters for the aftermarket but also supply chain is also a great opportunity for us and we intend to use this event on a regular basis as part of our long term plans.”

Tony Stewart, director at Certas Energy: "Certas is not a new company but it still isn’t as well known in the aftermarket and supply chain as it could be. Automechanika Birmingham is ideal for us to demonstrate that we are quite possibly one of the biggest oil & lubricant suppliers in the industry.

"We have huge penetration in other markets such as home fuels, oil & gas, forecourt and marine sectors, but now we can use Birmingham to introduce our company as one of the main suppliers of giant and respected brands such as Shell, Castrol, Gulf and Valvoline as well as many other services.”

James Larner, director, Autins Group: "The Autins Group is delighted to be exhibiting at Automechanika for the first time. As such a prestigious event in the motor industry calendar, we felt it was the perfect place to launch our brand new insulation product Neptune. The UK motor industry is one of the most successful and innovative in the world and so we deserve to have an event such as Automechanika that reflects this standing. We look forward to meeting with a wide range of OEMs and Tier1 & 2 suppliers to show them what we are able to offer.”

TR Fastenings’s Global, Director of Automotive Business Development, Chris Black: "To have the best in the Automotive Industry in one place, and the opportunities to talk to existing and new Tier1’s is for me a once in a year opportunity. Judging by the uptake on the exhibition stands I hope this becomes an annual event!”

Glenda Roberts, group sales director at TR Fastenings: "It took 30 seconds to agree to signing up for the exhibition when the opportunity was presented to us at an SMMT meeting. We see this as a tremendous showcase for us, and a great opportunity to meet more potential clients to increase our growth further in the Automotive sector”.
