The PartsforCars and Southside Motor Factor Group have introduced two innovative products that can put an end to the problem of data loss when working on a vehicle electrical system.

Today’s vehicles feature ECUs which contain essential data on various vehicle electrical systems. This data can often be lost when a battery is disconnected or when carrying out diagnostic work on the vehicle. Restoring lost data is time consuming, inconvenient and can be costly, so it will be welcome news to garages that two new products from battery maintenance experts Schumacher can avoid these problems.

The Schumacher Memory Saver (Product No. PMI7AOBD) is a compact innovative device that comes with a 1 metre OBD cable. It uses the EOBD socket to supply power to the ECU and maintain vital codes while you are working on a vehicle. It can thus put an end to the danger of memory loss and is available at a very affordable price.

Also available is the PPI700A Schumacher Battery Charger and Power Supply. This powerful multipurpose unit can provide vital constant power when a vehicle is undergoing diagnostics.  It is also a complete 70 Amp battery support and maintenance device with speed charge functions. It is suitable for charging, AGM, Calcium, Deep Cycle and Leisure battery types. A BSU function provides up to a continuous 70 amp clean power supply, with a programmable voltage setting.

These innovative memory saving devices are fast becoming equipment essentials for every progressive workshop. They are just two products from the extensive Schumacher Battery Maintenance range which also features, a variety of battery chargers, boosters and testers all in very high quality and affordable prices.
