Networking and sustainability was the theme of the bilstein group stand at Automechanika Frankfurt, with the company hosting one of the busiest venues at the show.
The team from the replacement parts specialist, based in Ennepetal, Germany, was delighted to be back meeting customers face to face. Group Sales Director Ulrich Wiedemuth summed up the sentiments of many saying, "After more than two years of pandemic, it is great to see both familiar and new faces, exchanging ideas about the future of the Independent Aftermarket and how we can shape it together. The market is changing and this presents us with new uncertainties. We want to show our partners how they can ‘rethink’ business development with us in order to be optimally prepared for the challenges of our time."
The bilstein group stand put the focus on networking with plenty of relaxing space in a lounge like setting that was also open and welcoming. As well as this, there were displays of some of the latest bilstein group products, with the febi and Blue Print component brands taking pride of place.
In particular there was an emphasis on many of the parts that both febi and Blue Print have in their ranges that offer a convenient, high quality and economical alternative to parts that are often perceived as only being available from car manufacturer dealers. Not only can febi and Blue Print offer such alternatives in this area, but generally the availability of these products is much faster through distributors and motor factors than through the vehicle manufacturers.
