Bosch Automotive Aftermarket has appointed Dominic Moran as its new Divisional Director for the UK and Ireland, who will take the position from October 1. Dominic replaces Robin Shaw who is leaving the Bosch Group.

Dominic moves from his current role as Country Sales Director for Bosch Automotive Aftermarket in the UK and Ireland, and brings with him significant experience from previous roles within the automotive sector.

Prior to his current role, Dominic was Regional Sales Manager for the Automotive Aftermarket in Oceania (including Australia and New Zealand). In December 2011 he moved to the UK to take up his appointment as Country Sales Director for the UK and Ireland, with responsibility for business development and building customer relationships as well as distribution strategy.

Dominic’s new role as Divisional Director will see him assume top level responsibility for the supply of automotive parts, workshop equipment, software and services to the UK and Irish markets. This encapsulates Bosch’s philosophy of Parts, Bytes and Services, and lies at the heart of the company’s Automotive Aftermarket strategy.

Commenting on his new role, Dominic said: "The industry has experienced huge change in the last five years, but Robin’s diligence has seen Bosch Automotive Aftermarket maintain its significant position and thrive in a difficult market. I’ll be working to build on the Division‘s achievements and continue to provide customers with the best possible service and solutions."

Dominic will continue to support the UK and Ireland sales function until further notice.
