Bodyshop equipment specialist Car-O-Liner, has always worked closely with the world’s leading car makers, something that has been key to the development of its advanced technology repair and alignment equipment. These close links were highlighted recently by two significant events.
Firstly, the Fiat Group, which has now taken control of the Chrysler Corporation, recently installed a complete Car-O-Liner Quick 42 Alignment Bench System and an EVO Anchoring and Holding System at the Fiat Technical Centre, Service Regulation and Workshop in Turin, Italy. The centre already had the Car-O-Tronic Vision X3 Electronic Measuring System in place.
Car-O-Liner and the Fiat Group have been working together in partnership since May 2013. The collaboration promotes training and includes membership in the Fiat Partner Program as well as inclusion in the Fiat “Workshop and Tool Equipment Catalogue”.
Meanwhile close links with Toyota have been further strengthened with the Car-O-Liner Alignment Academy in Sweden, hosting the Toyota Sweden Golden Hammer competition to determine the best collision repair technician in the country. Six finalists from around Sweden competed in theoretical and practical tests, covering areas such Paintless dent removal, alignment, electrical problem solving and welding.
Daniel Pettersson was announced as the winner of the 2014 competition and will go on to compete in the international event for best Toyota collision repair technician, in Japan later this year.
