Climb for Kids

Climb for Kids Michael Sheridan, Motoring Correspondent RTE, made it to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro as part of the Climb for Kids challenge in aid of Crumlin Hospital.

RTE’s Motoring Correspondent and Editor of the Motoring section of the

RTE website, Michael Sheridan, joined TV Presenters Kathryn Thomas, Sile Seoige, Jenny Buckley, Comedians Alan Shortt and Karl Spain, the High Kings Darren Holden, 2FM DJ, Ruth Scott, Fitness Trainer Paul Byrne and friends of Our Lady’s Hospital for sick children in Crumlin, on their Climb for Kids challenge.

They embarked on a colossal climb up Mount Kilimanjaro, in association with 2FM, on October 9th 2010.
All in all it took six days to reach the summit and Sheridan, who also produces and directs programming, and has many documentaries to his name, brought his camera with him to record the special event. Michael says that we will see that documentary in the near future, possibly next March.
