It is proving to be a hectic time for Colm Quinn BMW. He has just opened his Galway operation in the last few weeks, has been announced as the title sponsors of the Colm Quinn BMW Galway International which takes place on the 7th to 9th of February and now, BMW Group Ireland has announced that Colm Quinn, Athlone, has been awarded the title of Aftersales Dealer of the Year.

This award was launched to recognise the high standards achieved within the BMW Group Ireland network and to highlight one dealer who had excelled in all Aftersales activities.

The programme was based on the following criteria:

5 Star Rating: A new CRM initiative where customers can rate and provide feedback on their experience at a BMW Dealership via an online survey, similar to Trip Advisor.

Mystery Shop: Mystery shoppers visited all dealerships to give detailed accounts of their experiences.

Training participation: Ensuring that dealer staff have the skills and expertise to meet customers’ needs and to service and maintain our increasing model range.

A detailed submission from the dealer identifying specific initiatives they intended to take to further develop their Aftersales department and go “The Extra Mile” in 2014.

Speaking at the presentation of the award in the Dealership Paul Murray, Aftersales
Director of BMW Group Ireland, said “The results across the network showed a very high level of performance and certainly set a standard that others aspire to. This is an incredible achievement for Colm Quinn who only started the business in 2008. The hard work and commitment of each member of staff won this award for Colm Quinn”.

Colm Quinn, owner and Dealer Principal, also thanked his team during the presentation. “Since we started in business in 2008, customer service has been our priority. We will build on this award and use it as a basis for further improvements and for the launch of our Galway dealership later this year”. Colm also nominated Lorraine Moran as Customer Service Adviser of the Year in recognition of her commitment and achievements during 2013.
