Cromax has started a roll out of new new-look labels and packaging on all the brand’s product lines. The fresh design brings the labels in line with the new Cromax visual identity, launched in September 2013.

Anthony Cashel, Marketing Services Manager, Axalta Coating Systems UK and Ireland, says, “Each of the product families, Cromax Basecoat, Centari and Imron Fleet Line, have a new and distinct design pattern. Each can has a wide, coloured band across the front and the product code is in large, bold type within this coloured ribbon. This makes the new labels easy to organise and to identify, at a glance, in the mixing room.”

The ribbon also features the main product descriptor and, if a tint, the colour name. Where appropriate, the band also contains additional information, such as storage advice in the form of pictograms, or the respective ValueShade number.

In addition to the product families each having their own pattern, the labels are conveniently colour coded by product type. This makes it easy to distinguish binders (dark red) tints (rainbow), undercoats (green), clearcoats (blue-grey), thinners (blue) activators (ochre), and degreasers (turquoise) and additives (grey).

Anthony Cashel adds, “Although the can may sport a new and different design on the outside, the same Cromax brand quality, reliability and productivity is on the inside.”
