MEYLE says changing gearbox oil at regular intervals helps to extend transmission life considerably. Ideally, the oil change should be performed every 60,000 to 80,000 kilometres depending on driving technique. A gearbox oil change not only helps increase overall vehicle life significantly, it also allows workshops to generate additional sales and retain loyal customers. The right kit for gearbox types from ZF, Mercedes and VW DSG can be easily identified.
