Aftermarket parts brand Comline Auto Parts has announced a title sponsorship agreement with Richardson Racing and its driver, Will Bratt, for the upcoming Porsche Carrera Cup GB season.
This new alliance will see the hugely experienced Will Bratt take to the track under the ‘Comline Richardson Racing’ banner, piloting the #91 car, a number chosen as a nod to the year of Comline’s founding back in 1991. Bratt’s Porsche 911 (991) GT3 Cup racer will also be adorned with Comline’s distinctive blue and yellow livery for the 2021 season which gets underway at the Snetterton Circuit, Norwich, England.
33-year-old Will Bratt joins Richardson Racing team-mates, Will Martin and Josh Malin, for the eight-event, 16-round series and brings championship-winning pedigree to the team having previously claimed honours in the Euroseries F3000, Italian F3000 championships and Formula Renault UK.
Bratt is also a multiple race winner in F2 and Spanish F3 formulas and is no stranger to Porsche Carrera Cup GB, having previously competed in the series during the 2018 and 2019 seasons, scooping five top-six finishes.
Richardson Racing won the Protyre Ginetta GT5 Challenge, securing 13 wins and 15 podiums last year and will hope to repeat the success in Porsche Carrera Cup GB season which will be televised on ITV4.
Comline Auto Parts’ General Manager – Marketing and Communications, Leigh Davies, commented, “I speak for everyone at Comline when I say how thrilled we are with this agreement. Richardson Racing is a hugely impressive team with a track record for success and bringing out the very best in its drivers. Will Bratt’s racing credentials underline his undoubted talent and I’m excited to see what team and driver can achieve during the season ahead.”
