Dayco Aftermarket has appointed Glen Goldstone as its Technical Manager for the UK and Ireland. He will work alongside National Sales Manager, Steve Carolan and Area Sales Manager, Mark Barnett, supporting the brand’s growing number of distribution partners.

Although from outside the aftermarket, Glen has excellent engineering knowledge and experience from the forklift, heavy plant and dockside equipment industries.

Steve Carolan said, “Glen is a high calibre engineer with huge experience across a number of industrial sectors and his credentials mean that he’ll be a great asset to the Dayco team.” He added, “As a growing brand in the aftermarket, we need to have a technical manager with the skills and understanding to work with our customers and help them with training issues, installation queries and the overall warranty process.”

Commenting on his appointment, Glen said, “Although it’s always a little daunting to come out of your comfort zone, I‘m really excited about the opportunities and the challenges that this role encompasses. I enjoy working with people and helping them to resolve their difficulties and so the training responsibilities that form a big part of my brief is an area I’m really looking forward to developing.”
